So far so good, installed a week ago to replace brittle, broken and leaking oem plastic unit and no leaks at this point. I did replace all the gaskets that came with this aluminum housing with oem Elring (Germany) parts just bc I wasn’t sure of the quality of the ones that came with this unit (nothing wrong with them, maybe a tiny bit stiffer than the Elrings). Will update if something goes wrong but I’m pretty confident this is a done deal. Aluminum housing much better idea than plastic, BMW!
