I am very happy with this shift knob. I installed in in a 2000 Toyota Echo 2-Door Sedan with 130,000 miles. The shift knob fits onto the shift lever well but leaves a gap/space below it. I think this will be the case with any knob that is not a long item or a direct replacement of the original Toyota knob (which is longer and covers the lever further).

8ball shifter knob
Thread patterns that came with it(3 different ones) did not work for my application on golf cart shifter! Was of good quality and sure if used for right application is an excellent product!
