For 2009 Chevrolet and Corvette Racing introduced a new limited edition model that celebrates the Corvettes racing successes over the past several years: American Le Mans Series GT1 manufacturers champion for eight years, 5-time 24 Hours of Le Mans GT1 champions, and 70 victories in ALMS. Included in the package is C6.R livery-inspired graphics that feature Corvette Racing "Jake", championships, and driver flags, ZR1-style body color full width spoiler and chrome wheels, custom leather-wrapped Ebony interior with exclusive Yellow accent stitching, and GT1 embroidery on the leather seats, instrument panel, and center console armrest. The package also includes a special engine cover with a carbon pattern and yellow Corvette lettering.
