For sale is a very nice original 1968 GTO 355 ZH Heavy Duty 4 pinion posi-traction rear end. This is a one year only housing casting number. I rebuilt this and put it under my 1968 GTO back in 1983. I never got to finish the car and it's been up on blocks in my garage since then. I remember having it blasted and I painted it. You can see it's not a rusted and pitted junk yard or parts car rear end. You can also see it has never spun an axle bearing which was very common back then. The pictures show just how nice this rear end is. If you want a real ZH rear end instead of the restamps out there then here it is. Also included is a NOS posi tag. Package not included as I ordered ten. If you don't like the price I'm looking for a 1969 Chevelle 488 12 bolt with a January to March date. No restamp of course. I have a 1970 GTO/Judge 355 XH and a 1970 GTO/Judge 390 XK listed in other sales. I will also be listing an all original 1969 GTO/Judge 390 XK rear end.
