Greetings, and thank you for your interest. This genuine wood (walnut) instrument panel trim was carefully removed from a 1970 Continental Mark III.
The photos will show that this set of wood trim is in nice condition, considering its age of 56 years.
One hourglass trim piece has a crack, circled in red, but isn\'t cracked all the way through since it is solidly one piece.
The original chrome plated plastic backing pieces are included at no additional cost. The chrome on most is decent, but the chrome on one hourglass shaped piece is mostly gone. There are also five chips on the larger end piece. Other than that, none are broken, and none have cracked or missing pieces. The black paint needs to be touched up or resprayed. The red plastic high beam indicator is present.
The rectangular wood piece with the Continental Mark III callout is in nice condition but has some staining under the callout. It appears to be surface deep, so I think it can be sanded out and re-stained. The backing plate is cracked on both ends, both of which I super glued together, and they are holding quite nicely. There is a missing piece in the upper left corner (all are circled in red). The Mark III callout is held firmly in place. All the mounting pins in the rear are solidly in place, and the fasteners are included.
Please use the Zoom feature to closely inspect the great condition of this set of wood trim. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or if additional photos are needed to help you make an informed decision. Thank you for your consideration. Dennis
