This is an original 8.5 x 11 inch 6 page color article carefully removed from Hemmings Muscle Machines Magazine (2013) on a modified 1970 Pontiac Tempest with a specially-ordered GTO 400 cubic inch V8 engine. These Tempests were known as Magnum 400 models. This article has beautiful pictures of a blue Tempest hardtop with Judge side stripes. This is an interesting story of the owner’s modifications to the Tempest. The article describes the rebuilding of the engine and there is detailed technical specifications of the V8 engine.
