Loose door strap handles are the leading cause of Bezel breakage. When the door straps are not solid, which is usually caused by:
1. The square notches in the trim panel are gouged out or worn which loosens the pull strap and allows it to turn putting pressure on the Bezel.
2. Trim panel cracked and mounting studs broken.
3. Door panel and mounting brackets cracked and broken.
These problems cause the bezel to take the brunt of the force when closeing the door and over time the Bezel cracks. Repairing the square inserts and using the correct screws makes the pull strap Rock Solid. The mounting posts for the trim piece insure that the trim piece is soldily secured to the door panel. For best results cracks in the door panel where the Bezel attaches need to be repaired. I personally use JB Weld to secure the new posts and for crack repair in the panel.
Instructions for Use
