Installation and Programming Requirements
Professional installation by a licensed repair facility is required.
The installer must:
- Compare the replacement transmission with the original unit
- Verify all transmission and OEM numbers
- Use Toyota-approved transmission fluid
- Replace applicable seals, gaskets, filters, and one-time-use components
- Flush or replace the transmission cooler and cooler lines
- Complete required programming, initialization, calibration, and adaptive relearn procedures
- Follow Toyota installation and fluid-level procedures
Labor, installation, removal, programming, diagnostics, fluids, and maintenance items are not included.

Freight Inspection
Inspect the shipment before signing the delivery receipt.
Any visible damage must be photographed and noted on the delivery receipt. Concealed damage must be reported within 48 hours.
Keep all packaging, wrapping, straps, pallet materials, and shipping documents until any freight claim is resolved.
1-Month / 1,000-Mile Limited Parts Warranty
This transmission includes a 1-month or 1,000-mile limited parts warranty, beginning on the shipment date, whichever occurs first.
The warranty covers qualifying internal transmission failure caused by a defect in the supplied transmission assembly.
The warranty does not cover:
- Installation or removal labor
- Diagnostics, programming, calibration, or relearn procedures
- Fluids, filters, seals, gaskets, coolers, or cooler lines
- Sensors, wiring, modules, or external accessories
- Towing, rental vehicles, storage, or vehicle downtime
- Incorrect fitment or improper installation
- Incorrect, contaminated, or insufficient fluid
- Overheating or lack of lubrication
- Failure to service the transmission cooler
- Abuse, racing, modification, accidents, or neglect
- Incidental or consequential expenses
Warranty claims require proof of professional installation, a complete repair-facility invoice, VIN, mileage, fluid documentation, and diagnostic reports.
Do not disassemble or repair the transmission without written authorization from Sincere Gear LLC.
$500 Refundable Core Deposit
The core deposit will be refunded after:
- The correct original transmission is returned
- The core is complete and rebuildable
- The case is not cracked, broken, or welded
- Major components are not missing
- The unit has not been disassembled
- The core is returned without catastrophic damage
The buyer is responsible for return shipping unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Limited Liability
Sincere Gear LLC’s maximum liability is limited to the original purchase price of the transmission.
Sincere Gear LLC is not responsible for labor, installation, removal, diagnostics, programming, towing, rental vehicles, storage, lost income, vehicle downtime, or incidental or consequential damages.
Enhanced 12-month/12,000-mile and 36-month/36,000-mile limited parts warranties may be available through a separate written agreement directly from Sincere Gear LLC.
