If this configuration does not suite your need (such as Battery in original location) please email before purchasing.Its no secret that the fuel pump wiring is the longest run of wiring in the entire chassis harness. Combined with being notoriously undersized, most Nissan platforms during the late 80s and 90s are plagued with the same weak fuel pump wiring, While stock pumps work just fine, the voltage drop from the battery to the fuel pump (sometimes an entire 2v loss) is simply not enough to run aftermarket pumps at their full potential.
The OEM fuel hanger utilizes existing sensor plug and replaces the power plug.
**The OE bulkhead pump connector is a known weak point. If you\'re running larger than a 440lph pump, it is advised to convert pump power and ground to passthrough studs when using the factory tophat or switch to an aftermarket unit completely**
