Worn guides or stems and burned or badly seated valves allow gas to escape under compression, resulting in poor starting and loss of power. Symptoms of a bad or failing engine valve: engine misfire, excessive oil consumption. Be sure to have your engine valves replace with aftermarket replacement engine valves as soon as it starts to give you trouble.
