Upgrade the front speakers in your Porsche Boxster 986 or Porsche 996 with these 3D-printed 4-inch speaker adapter plates, designed to install aftermarket speakers in the factory mounting locations without cutting or permanently modifying your interior.
2 ADAPTER PLATES ARE INCLUDED WITH EVERY ORDER – enough for the left and right front speakers.
These adapters were originally designed around the Dayton Audio RS100-8 4" Full-Range Speaker, but they should also work with other compatible 4-inch speakers. Please compare your speaker's mounting points and dimensions with the adapter before ordering.

Other 4-inch aftermarket speakers should also work as long as their dimensions and mounting points are compatible.
Because mounting patterns can vary between speaker manufacturers, please cross-reference your speaker's mounting points and dimensions before purchasing.

The adapters allow compatible aftermarket speakers to be installed using the factory mounting locations without cutting or permanently modifying the vehicle's interior.
Installation
The adapter plates mount in the factory speaker locations.
The speakers are secured to the adapters using M4 screws threaded directly into the plastic.
M4 screws and all other mounting hardware are NOT included.
Please use appropriately sized screws and avoid overtightening when fastening into the 3D-printed PETG.

How is it made?
Each adapter is FDM 3D-printed to order from PETG, a strong and durable material offering excellent layer adhesion, toughness, and improved heat resistance compared with standard PLA.
PETG is well suited for automotive interior applications where components may experience vibration and elevated temperatures inside a parked vehicle.
Minor layer lines and small cosmetic variations may be visible due to the 3D-printing process. These are normal characteristics of additive manufacturing and do not affect intended functionality.
