Lift Supports Installation Key Notes
- Secure hood/lid before installation. Do NOT rely on lift supports to hold weight.
- Install in OEM direction, piston‑rod end down. Reverse mounting is prohibited.
- Press ball socket fully until click sound. Pull manually to confirm secure connection.
- Tighten bolts properly. Do not over‑torque to avoid thread & rubber base damage.
- Replace in pairs recommended. Single‑side replacement causes unbalanced operation.
- Remove safety prop after install. Test open‑close repeatedly; no dropping, noise or oil leakage.
- Do not disassemble, strike or bend. Protect piston rod from scratches and paint contamination.
