Dimension Details: This brake chamber is built to standard Type 30/30 standard-stroke specifications. The unit includes a 0.625\" diameter push rod with a 13.5\" length, designed to deliver a 2.5\" standard ram stroke. It is equipped with round air ports having a 0.375\" thread diameter. The mounting configuration includes 4.75\" center-to-center mount holes and 5/8\"-11 mounting bolts, allowing direct installation on compatible brake spiders.
Functionality: This Type 30/30 brake chamber is a critical component of the air brake system. The service chamber converts compressed air into mechanical force during normal braking, pushing the push rod outward to actuate the slack adjuster and apply the brakes. The spring chamber provides automatic parking and emergency braking by applying force when air pressure is released. This dual-function design ensures controlled braking during operation and fail-safe braking when air pressure is lost.

Always cage the spring brake before servicing a combination chamber.
Fully depressurize the air brake system before removal.
Never disassemble a brake chamber that is not properly caged.
Use appropriate tools and follow standard safety procedures.
After installation, test for air leaks and verify correct push rod stroke.

How to Replace It

Park the vehicle on level ground and block the wheels.
Drain air from the brake system completely.
Cage the spring brake chamber securely.
Disconnect air lines and remove mounting nuts.
Remove the old brake chamber from the brake spider.
Install the new brake chamber and secure it with mounting hardware.
Reconnect air lines and uncage the spring brake.
Re-pressurize the system and test for proper operation and air leaks.

18 Month Warranty: This product is covered for one year, 100,000 miles after the installation, or 18 months after the purchase, whichever comes first. The product’s warranty is only active when the parts have defective material or workmanship defaults. Inappropriate application will lead to the dismissal of the warranty. Additionally, the warranty doesn’t cover the parts that fail or get damaged due to misuse, misapplication, or accident. If the customer wishes to return/replace this product under warranty, reach out to us. The team will verify by doing a thorough inspection and if they find a defect that is covered in above mentioned warranty; the product will be replaced without any charge. We disclaim liability for labor or consequential damages of any nature. We request the customers to wait until the claim is resolved and settled from our end after replacement is requested under warranty.
