Removing the drive shaft step by step:
- First, drain and collect the gear oil.
- Now remove the wheel.
- Loosen the locking screw.
- Loosen the ball joint and the tie rod end.
- Loosen the upper nut of the stabiliser link joint.
- Remove the ball joint of the front lower wishbone.
- Pull out the drive shaft.Thoroughly degrease all areas.
- Fit the new drive shaft.Reassemble all components in reverse order.
- Fill in new gear oil.
Matters to be checked after assembly:
- Check that the working rotating surface of the whole drive shaft shall not interfere with other parts
- Check the fasteners should be firm and reliable, no loose phenomenon
- Check that there is no leakage of each protective component
