It’s designed to snap into your radio hole without glue or fasteners
Will fit 95% of the radio holes without adhesive or trimming.
Note…
The hole in your dash was cut out by the dealership to install the radio.
So there’s a variable regarding the hole sizes.
Because of this, it may be necessary to trim your hole,or…
Use adhesive if the hole is too large.
This delete plate will fit most Beetle dashes.
We cannot however, guarantee a perfect fit every time
You may need to do some trimming, or adhesive if your hole is big!
The ideal hole size for the plates to fit well, is 65-67mm tall
Anything less than 65mm, will need a hole trimming,
And anything over 68mm, may need adhesive

There is/was no padded dash delete plate (prt# is not legit)
The delete option meant they didn’t cut out the hole on the dash
