This service includes an upgrade to all Viton seals on the fuel side for E85 compatibility!! The OEM seals swell and tear when used with E85, causing leakage and high pressure fuel loss.
All seals on the hydraulic side are replaced with OEM equivalents, as required.
At high loads/pressures for tuned cars, the rotary seal can also push out, draining the hydraulic fluid and leaving you stranded with high pressure fuel loss. This service includes a retaining clip and backing ring above the rotary seal to prevent it from pushing out!
The flow control valve is tested for operability and smooth stroking.
A vacuum is pulled on the hydraulic fluid to get nearly ALL entrained air out of the hydraulic side; air is a hydraulic system killer!! The pump is refilled with OEM equivalent hydraulic fluid and the rotary seal is replaced with a new and improved seal from SKF.
