BMW /2 Aftermarket Fuel Tank by Churchgate English made 1960's Vintage:
$375.00

Here for purchase is a very unusual and rare aftermarket fuel tank for the BMW /2 motorcycles of the 1960's. Produced by Churchgate out of the United Kingdom, only a few ever made it to the United States. It was more popular on bikes in Europe. This is a plastic/polyester/fiberglass tank. The capacity is unknown. I do not have a lot of history of use for this tank, as it was found at an estate sale. The tank does have front and rear mounting brackets and shows some signs of installation. Paint does have some blemishes/scratches and is not show quality. There have been nicely done external repairs for fuel leakage at some point in the past, and the interior has been coated with a white sealer, and it is not known what future use would reveal. One use for this tank might be for a static display as in a collection setting. It has a very unusual shape.
