IMPORTANT INSTALLATION & FITMENT DISCLAIMERS
> 1. BILLET / MODIFIED END CAP REQUIRED:
> This complete 4-clutch and dual-Belleville washer stack has a total height of roughly ~16.8 mm. This set WILL NOT fit under a stock OEM BMW end cap without modification. Installing this entire stack under a standard factory end cap will bind the differential completely solid or break the cast end cap under load. Installation requires an aftermarket billet end cap (such as the RacingDiffs RD4014 cap), a custom-machined cap with extra pocket clearance, or selective plate arrangement.
>
> 2. PROFESSIONAL / EXPERIENCED INSTALLATION ONLY:
> Building and setting up a clutch-type LSD requires technical knowledge of differential assembly. You must be comfortable measuring stack heights, calculating carrier tolerances, checking backlash/breakaway torque, and properly shimming internal components. No installation support or step-by-step assembly guides are included. If you are unfamiliar with setting up factory ZF 188mm carriers, professional installation by an experienced rear-end builder is strongly recommended.
