Original vintage VDO Quarz-Zeit dashboard clock for BMW E9 applications.
This is the later-style VDO quartz clock with black face, white hands and numerals, chrome bezel and metal housing. The face is marked “VDO Quarz-Zeit” and the rear mechanism is marked +12V.
This clock was acquired along with other vintage BMW E9 instrumentation.
CONDITION:
Good original unrestored vintage condition with normal age-related cosmetic wear, dust, light marks and oxidation as shown in the photos.
The previous owner stated that this clock was removed from the vehicle in good working condition.
I have NOT personally tested the clock since removal, so I cannot independently guarantee its current operation. It is being sold as an original used, untested vintage part.
The glass, dial, hands and chrome bezel present well overall for their age. Please review all photos carefully for exact cosmetic condition.

The white “3045” marking on the rear appears to be an old inventory or identification marking rather than a VDO part number.
