MATERIAL:Twill Vinyl:A 45oz heavy weight two ply composite. Sounds impressive but what this really means for you is REDUCED NOISE! In comparative tests, It is a 2 ply composite material with a heavy duty outer layer of PVC and a 100% Polyester laminated backing. Polyester is much stronger than cotton or poly/cotton blends when it comes to abrasion and tearing. Also polyester resists rot and mildew. Polyester is so superior in fact, it is the only material specified for use in all European luxury convertibles.

Things to watch out for
- 1. Grey or white backing. This is atelltalesign of the top being made in china. The material they are using are not even UV coated which means it will fade within 6 months and you want even be able to return it at that point.
- 2. Watch for pictures of wrinkled or plastic wrapped plastic windows. That'show you know its a Chineseknock off. We use D.O.T approved press polished automotive specific plastic windows. The Chinese ones are fuzzy and sticky anddefinitelynot DOT approved.
- 3. The wording and the description dont match. Some listings show original vinyls such as sailcloth and pinpoint grains and they are selling some random Chinese Vinyl.
