Warranty> FAQ · Before You Order Questions.
1. Will these fit my Ford? If your Ford F-150 or Expedition runs a 6×135 hub, 87.1 mm center bore and M14×1.5 bolts — that's the full-size truck and SUV range — yes. The fitment table below, or send us your chassis code (e.g. F30, F10, E71) and we confirm within hours. 2. Which thickness do I need? Measure the gap between your tire sidewall and fender lip. Under ~10 mm stays safe at 15 mm; 20–25 mm gives a flush stance on most models; 30 mm+ is for aggressive builds. Not sure? Send a photo of the wheel-to-fender gap and we size it for you. 3. Will I feel vibration at highway speed? No — and that's the point of hub-centric design. The spacer centers itself on the hub so the wheel loads on the hub, exactly like the OEM wheel, not on the bolts. Vibration almost always traces back to lug-centric cast spacers. 4. Do I need to trim my factory studs? BLM spacers slide straight onto your factory studs — whether the studs need trimming depends on your wheels. Measure the factory stud length first: if the studs extend beyond the surface of the spacer and the cavities on the back of your wheels are not deep enough to cover them, modifying (trimming) the factory studs is required. Always dry-fit before final install — if the wheel fails to fit onto the spacer correctly and leaves a gap between the two, stop the installation immediately and check the cavity depth or trim the studs first. 5. Are forged spacers safer than the $40 cast ones? Forging aligns the grain structure; casting leaves voids and porosity that can crack under heat and cornering load. Ours are forged 7075-T6, backed by 77+ SGS/TÜV reports and a 10-year warranty against cracking and fatigue failure. 6. What are the benefits of the knurling design? Knurling adds bite on the seating face so the spacer grips the hub and resists micro-slip under torque. It also breaks up surface contact to shed a little heat, and it looks clean under the wheel. Practical and visual. 7. Will they rub my fender or liners? A spacer moves the wheel out, not up — rubbing depends on tire size and ride height, not the spacer itself. If your setup has no rub now, +15–20 mm rarely changes that. Stanced cars on 30 mm+ should double-check clearance at full compression. 8. How do I verify my PCD and center bore before ordering? PCD: measure center-to-center across two studs. Center bore: measure the hub lip diameter. Thread pitch: run a bolt gauge or bring a stock bolt to any parts store. Not sure? Send us a hub photo or chassis code and we confirm within hours, free. 9. Why does BONOSS test with TÜV? TÜV is a third-party safety and quality authority. We run our forged spacers through its 2,000,000-cycle fatigue test, ISO 898-1 bolt strength, ISO 6507 hardness and ISO 9227 salt-spray. Independent test reports, in writing, are how we stand behind the warranty. 10. Why choose 7075-T6 over 6061-T6? 7075-T6 is the aerospace-grade choice: about 1.8× the tensile strength of 6061-T6 (572 MPa vs 310 MPa) for only a small weight penalty. It's built for track days, heavy builds and towing where every gram and every Newton counts. If you want maximum strength and don't mind the premium, this is the one to get — 6061-T6 remains the value pick for everyday street use. 11. Do I need a mechanic to install them? Not necessarily. A lug wrench, jack and torque wrench are enough for slip-ons — torqued to spec, no cutting, no drilling. If you'd rather not, any tire shop can do it in about 20 minutes. 12. Shipping, returns, warranty — the practical bits? Free US-mainland shipping, 95% same-day dispatch, 7–10 day delivery. 30-day no-question returns. 10-year warranty on the spacer body. Every piece carries laser engraving + QR anti-counterfeit verification. 13. Are they corrosion-resistant? Will they rust? Every hub face is hard-anodized, so the surface resists oxidation and salt exposure far better than bare cast aluminum. Combined with forged 7075-T6, they stay clean through rain, road salt and track use — we prove it with the ISO 9227 salt-spray test. 14. Can I use them for towing or track days? Yes. Forged 7075-T6 with 12.9-grade bolts is rated well above OEM load, and the 2,000,000-cycle fatigue test covers repeated heat and cornering. For towing, stay within your vehicle's rated tongue weight; if you carry heavy loads daily, tell us and we'll spec a stronger build. Ready to upgrade?
