Bentley Chrome 18" Le Mans Alloy Wheel Center Cap

Offered here is a chrome center cap in good used condition. Please note further condition description above for further details. Unfortunately, these caps are no longer available and the manufacturer is no longer in business.
These covers are secured to the wheel with an o-ring seal around the perimeter and bolt and washer through a hole in the cover pocket. The pocket is closed by a finished cap which seals flush with the cover face. It is the structural failure of the bottom of the pocket which enables the cap to vibrate loose and vanish in the wind.
As a precaution, the pocket here has been reinforced with epoxy to avoid a future mishap.
Included with the cap here is the locking bolt and washer, as well as an obsolete NOS chrome closing cap and the associated NOS securing o-ring.
The wheels were offered as an option on later Azure and Continentals, but were sometimes chosen by other owners to update their cars, as the bolt pattern matched that of earlier cars.
This style wheel was also available in 17" wheels, so please be sure that it is 18" wheels that you have, as these caps are not compatible with the 17" version.
