This CURT RV hitch is engineered with a universal, adjustable design to fit a wide variety of applications. It is built with a three-piece frame. The side plates are able to move side to side along the main body of the hitch, allowing it to be tweaked to the exact width needed. This particular RV hitch is able to fit frames up to 72" wide. With the side plates in the correct position, they secure bolt into place using the included mounting hardware.
Having a trailer hitch on the back of your RV is one of the most useful investments you can make to improve your camping experience. This motorhome hitch comes with a standard 2" x 2" receiver tube, allowing it to accept any towing accessories with a 2" shank. A 2" ball mount can be installed to enable the RV to tow a variety of trailers such as a boat trailer, ATV hauler, utility trailer or even a popup camper. A tow bar can also attached, allowing you to bring your vehicle along for the adventure.
This CURT RV camper hitch comes with a gross trailer weight rating of 3,500 lbs. and a tongue weight rating of 350 lbs. This gives it the strength necessary to tow several different types of trailers as well as a variety of vehicles for dinghy towing (NOTE: Never exceed the lowest-rated towing component).
Each CURT RV hitch is finished with our unique co-cured finishing process. First, the hitches are fully immersed in a liquid A-coat, coating the hitch inside and out. Then, a durable black powder coat is applied and is cured together with the A-coat, resulting in a highly protective and long-lasting finish. It offers industry-leading rust, chip and UV resistance. Whatever weather you find yourself towing in -- rain, shine, snow or sleet -- CURT hitches are built to stand, season after season.
