The new VHX Systems fit directly into the stock instrument bezel of a 1963-64ChevyImpala, Biscayne and Bel Air without modification, adding a wealth of features to this iconic vehicle.
An innovative design solution for the large instrument housing found in the 1963-64 Impala. VHX-63C-IMP incorporates six analog instruments with one, large LCD message center capable of displaying two readings at one time. All indicators are integrated into the instrument face and remain hidden until activated.

Lighting - Back lit technology ispopular with performance instrumentation due to precise lighting allowingyou see what istrulyimportant when you really need it at a quick glance. Each number, tick mark, annunciator, needle, indicator and digital message center is lit by a series of LEDs behind the gauge face.

**Not all OEM indicator lamp functions will be replaced.
- If additional indicators are desired within the new instrument system, consider repurposing any unused indicators to suit your Sensors:
Water Temperature - 1/8\" NPT, ground isolated sensor with a10 ftharness.
Oil Pressure - 1/8\" NPT solid state sensor with a 10 ft harness.
Cable Drive Speed Sensor/Generator - Replaces GM style speedometer cables with a 10 ft harness. Sensor requires approximately 5\" clearance extending between the cable drive output and any obstruction. Part # 130011(sold separately) allows for relocation of the pulse generator when additional clearance is required (Tremec and Ford style adaptors available on request).
Bushings - Each kit comes with 1/8\" to1/4\", 3/8\" and 1/2\" NPT bushingsalong with bushings for12mm and 16mmx 1.5 threads.

Calibration
Pushbutton - Dakota Digitalinstrumentsare programmed and operated by the push of a button. Simply mount the included pushbuttonssupplied with yourgaugesina convenientand easily accessible location. These buttons are used to calibrate your speedometer, set the cylinder count andthefuel levelgauge. Once properly configuredthese same buttons are used to access the wealth of informationlocated in the Digital Message Centers.
