The EBC USR7209 is a USR Series Sport Slotted rear rotor built for the 2003–2008 Honda Accord sedan and 2004–2008 Acura TSX. A narrow-profile slot pattern is EBC\'s answer to the wind noise common on older slotted rotor designs, cooling and de-gassing the brakes under load while staying quiet at street speeds -- the design is specifically marketed as EBC\'s \"Super Silent\" slotted line for this reason.

Precision-machined from high-quality grey iron castings at EBC\'s UK facility, the slots also remove gas, dirt, water, and debris from the pad-to-rotor interface, helping maintain flat, parallel pad wear over the life of the set and avoiding the record-groove or galling wear pattern common on non-slotted rotors. This same 10.2-inch rear rotor is shared across every Accord trim and both engine options for this generation -- DX, EX, EX-L, LX, Hybrid, and Special Edition, four-cylinder and V6 alike -- since only the front rotor size changes with drivetrain: 11.8 inches on the V6 6-speed manual, 11.1 inches on the V6 automatic and I4.

Best paired with a matching high-friction pad set, such as one built for FMSI Pad No. D537, to get the full benefit of the slotted design. Sold as a set of two, backed by EBC\'s Limited Lifetime Warranty. Note that EBC has been transitioning this rotor\'s coating from black zinc to a Gen 3 clear finish, so the exact rotor received may reflect either generation depending on current production.
