Edo-Aire Mitchell model 1C388 radio coupler, serial P20936G, with Piper-marked faceplate. The attached lead and connector shown in the photos are included. A Century II/III service manual identifies the 1C388 as a radio coupler used with a standard Omni/Localizer converter and Edo 52D54 directional gyro to feed navigation signals to the autopilot. Other 1C388 variants serve different installations; confirm the exact model, connector, and aircraft equipment before purchase.
This is the actual salvaged unit pictured, with wear to the case and knob. It was collected more than 12 years ago and stored and moved since. No recent bench test, service tag, or airworthiness paperwork is included. Electrical operation and compatibility are unknown. Sold for parts or repair; have it inspected, tested, and approved as required before aircraft installation.
