A UV-resistant clear gel-coat finish is applied to the parts, making them weatherproof and long-lasting. They are delivered unpainted with a clear-coated carbon weave, and they can be painted at a later time if so desired. The package contains one pair of carbon fiber eyelids, securely packed, along with a free roll of pre-applied 3M automotive double-sided tape for installation. International shipping is available upon request.Installation Method: No printed instructions are included. Thoroughly clean and degrease the mounting surface with isopropyl alcohol, then let it dry. Do a test fit of the eyelids to verify alignment before peeling off any adhesive backing. Attach the supplied 3M tape to the edges of the eyelids (or confirm that the tape has already been applied), remove the backing, carefully position the piece, and then press firmly along the full length for at least 30 seconds. In cold conditions, use a heat gun or hair dryer to warm the tape and adhesive so that bonding improves (exercise caution; do not overheat). Once installed, keep the adhesive dry and refrain from washing the vehicle or exposing it to heavy moisture or high-speed driving for 24 hours so the tape can properly set. For added long-term security, extra automotive-grade adhesive or reinforcement may be applied during professional installation. Installation tools must be provided by yourself and are not included in the package.
