New reproduction Seat Position Sensor Potentiometer Coupling ShaftforFerrari 355 Spider
Often when the power top operation on a F355 Spider fails it's caused by a faulty seat position sensor (Part# 64978300)It is noticeable when the power top is activated the seats no longer move forward and the failure peeper sounds!
The most common failure in the sensor is this small coupling shaft which activates the potentiometer.It brakes and is no longer able to turn the potentiometer.
The seat position sensor needs to be removed from the seat and disassembled in order to replace this part, therefore some mechanics skill is required!
