for FOCAL’s know-how. The membrane is light, stiff and optimally cushioned

– essential elements for the “ideal” speaker driver.

Produced in the FOCAL production facilities using high-quality French flax

for this membrane embedded between two thin layers of glass fiber.

The light sandwich is characterized by a natural sound without discoloration

as well as rich reproduction in the midrange and precise bass beats.

Flax Evo delivers further innovations such as the new TAM tweeter: derived from the state-of-the-art tweeter of the Utopia M series, The inverted dome with M-profile ensures a wider beam angle. The patented Tuned Mass Damper (TMD) surround is used on all speaker components used and helps to reduce unwanted resonances and a clean, neutral midrange reproduction with very low distortion factor.
