Installation Steps of Cooling Fan:

• Cut off the power and disconnect the car battery to avoid electric hazards.
• Dismount the damaged old fan, brackets and connecting wires.
• Position the new cooling fan and fasten it tightly with bolts.
• Plug in the wiring harness and check all connections for firmness.
• Reconnect the battery, start the vehicle and test the fan function.

Installation Steps of Cooling Fan:

Working Principle of Cooling Fan:

• The temperature sensor detects engine/coolant temperature and sends signals to the control unit.
• When temperature rises to the set value, the control unit activates the relay.
• Power is supplied to the fan motor, driving blades to rotate.
• Flowing air passes through the radiator to dissipate heat from coolant.
• Temperature drops to normal range, then the fan stops faults of cooling fan (5 main types):
  • No rotation: Fan fails to start due to blown fuse, damaged motor or faulty relay.
  • Abnormal noise: Loose parts, worn bearings or foreign objects inside the fan.
  • Slow speed: Aging motor or poor circuit contact leads to insufficient rotation speed.
  • Intermittent work: Loose wiring harness or defective temperature sensor causes unstable operation.
  • Overheating easily: Fan runs continuously or stops working, resulting in engine overheating.
