If your application does not provide the appropriate 12V power supply, from a single battery source, a properly sized 12V voltage reducer/converterWILL be required.A cheap ($24.00 Supernight) voltage reducer is more than sufficient. Although the console will draw no more than 8 amps, due to our commitment to quality and overbuilding, we recommend the 20 amp reducer due to additional RF insulation and overall higher build quality.
