THIS LISTING IS NOT A REPLACEMENT OEM SPLITTER. THIS IS A SUPPLEMENTAL, UNDERMOUNT RACING SPLITTER> ACCENT YOUR SHELBY WITH THIS RACE INSPIRED FRONT SPLITTER. MADE FROM SOLID 1/4" ABS PLASTIC WHICH IS LIGHT WEIGHT AND DURABLE. EASY TO INSTALL. Brand new SBS PERFORMANCE Front splitter for the 2015-2019 Mustang Shelby GT350. This splitter is made from 1/4" Black ABS automotive plastic. This in NOT an OEM splitter, but a racing splitter that mounts underneath the OEM splitter. Our splitter adds aero and protects the factory splitter from curbs, driveways and speed bumps! DOES NOT REQUIRE THE REMOVAL OF THE FRONT BUMPER. HOLES ARE PREDRILLED! More sturdy than Carbon Fiber splitter. Bolts directly to the front bumper and sub-frame through the stock belly pan holes and through the factory stock belly pan. No need to remove the front bumper to install this splitter. 15-30 minute install time. Need a jack, 2 jack stands, 7mm socket/ratchet, T27 Torx head driver, Phillips screw driver., and riv-nut tool. Comes with: 1- 1/4" ABS black splitter 70" x 25". 12- 6M-1 30mm screws 6- #8 x 3/4" screws with 1 1/4" washers 4- #8 x 2 1/2" screws with 1 1/4" washers. APR, Longacre, Allstar and Ford Racing make 6" adjustable support rods. This splitter is designed to create down force on the front of your car. The higher the speeds, the more downforce is created. DO NOT USE THIS Splitter without installing at least 2 spoiler support (adjuster) rods! Returns are accepted only if splitter has not been installed, unless there is a fitment issue or the incorrect splitter was purchased-based on year or model. The grainy side of the automotive ABS is the top/upper side of the splitter. The smoother side of the splitter is the bottom. The grainy side is extremely durable. Theses splitters are almost impossible to break which makes it so ideal for this applications. Please note that bottom smoother side may come with lines from manufacturer and the bottom side is very easily scratched, even a soft microfiber cloth can scratch because it is raw, unfinished ABS plastic. Some buyers have opted to have the bottom side painted and have installed the splitters upside down, allowing the painted side to be on top. Use of thread lock/locktite is highly recommended. Please note that black ABS is a solid plastic that is the actual product color. This product is designed to have the grainy, textured side facing up or out. The bottom, smooth side may have some sheen but it is not a finished product and it can scratch easily. The smooth side can be installed facing up or out, only if it is painted or you have a wrap overlaid on it. NOTICE: due to supply chain shortages of resins and increased petroleum costs (both used in making of plastics), the raw ABS material prices are increasing by $40 per unit as of February 28, 2022.
