Ifyour windshield and fairing bolts are stripped, missing or just tiredlooking, why not replace them with a new set of stainless socket button head bolts. In addition to the three bolts for across thefront, this kit contains four more bolts that attach the fairing tothe bike. Two of those are located near the speakers and the othertwo are lower between the forks.
Andfinally there are three large diameter rubber backed stainlesswashers for the front and four small diameter stainless washers thattuck under the fairing attached in bolts.
Eachcomponent of our seat bolt kit is made of
grade 18-8 stainless steelto prevent rust forever.

Thefactory installed fairing bolts had Torx heads for robotic assembly.These shallow socket fasteners work fine when installed withperfectly aligned robotic arms. But when removed and re-installed byhuman arms those shallow sockets often strip. If you replace theoriginals with our much deeper, socket button head bolts, thestrip-outs will go away.
