These bumpers are made to be stronger then the original ibis tek style bumpers, these bumpers are made completely out of steel vs the original aluminum versions.
Many people in the military did not like the aluminum versions due to them crunchy in to the tire when hit. This version will not do that. This steel bumper can push another vehicle off the road and it won’t hurt it. Attached is an image of an original aluminum bumper smashed in.
Bumpers are made with 3/16 in steel walled tubing, 1/4 C-channel body and 1/4 inch I-beam center supports. Very durable!
Bumper comes completely assembled as you see in the images, with all the mounting hardware, D rings and brackets, and rubber bumper pads. These bumpers bolt directly to your frame or existing winch plate.
This bumper does not come with the added drop down plates, but if you want it you can either buy the drop down plates separately on my other listing or buy the other bumper I have listed that includes the drop down plates.
