Fitment Notes

• This kit is specifically designed for 8V S3 and RS3 models equipped with factory Electronic Damper Control (Magnetic Ride / EDC). Factory Magnetic Ride dampers remain fully active and are not replaced or deactivated.
• Does not fit 8V S3/RS3 models without EDC — those variants use standard (non-adaptive) dampers with a different spring seat configuration.
• Does not fit the 8Y-generation Audi RS3 (2022+) — that platform uses different suspension architecture requiring a separate application.
• Front and rear height are both adjusted via threaded spring perches installed over the factory struts — no strut replacement required.
• All Audi Drive Select modes and Magnetic Ride adaptive damper functions remain fully operational after installation.

Product Description

The KW H.A.S. (Height Adjustable Spring) Kit 253100AL is purpose-built for the 2015–2020 Audi S3 and 2017–2020 Audi RS3 (both 8V generation) equipped with factory Electronic Damper Control (Magnetic Ride). New KW chrome-silicon steel springs and threaded height adjusters install directly over the factory Magnetic Ride struts at both ends, delivering a continuously adjustable lowering range — up to 1.0 inch front and 0.8 inch rear — without touching or deactivating the factory adaptive damper system. All Drive Select modes, including the Magnetic Ride Comfort and Dynamic profiles, remain fully functional throughout the adjustment range.

The modest but meaningful lowering range is deliberately calibrated for the RS3 and S3's already-lower Magnetic Ride ride height, ensuring proper suspension geometry and travel are maintained within KW's TÜV-tested parameters. For 8V S3/RS3 owners without EDC who prefer a full coilover conversion, KW offers separate V3 coilover kits for the 8V platform. This H.A.S. kit is backed by KW's Limited Lifetime Warranty and ships complete with all hardware and documentation.
