Today's sale is for a restored Arnolt Accessory heater forany of the T-series cars and may be used in other British cars of the period.
I have restored these heaters for many years and once my current inventory of heaters and mounting parts are sold, I will restore no additional heaters.
I begin by the purchase of a good restorable heater and completely disassemble in preparation of building a "new" unit. The casing is bead blasted to bare metal, undercoated with primer and then final coated with hammer-tone gold to approximate the original color.
The motor is freshened with new bearings, lifetime lubed and bench tested for the correct amp draw with new wiring. The blower fan is balanced using a proprietary method for smooth and quiet running.
The heater matrix is flushed and pressure tested for leaks, and once approved the coolant flow is balanced between the inlet and outlet pipes.
Once all mechanical components are quality checked, the unit is assembled and finished with a reproduction ARNOLT brand label for the front.
This heater comes with a copy of the old MOSS MOTORS/ ARNOLT installation instructions.
I also have the mounting bracket strut, bypass fitting and LUCAS rheostat control on my other sales. If you need these components, please take a look at these listings.
