Marine Motor SBC350 Rebuilt With OMC Stringer Drive For Sale - New and Used

Rebuilt from ground up OMC SBC350 from a 1972 Chris Craft Lancer 19. The engine has been meticulously gone through and has new timing, pistons, camshaft, finished crank, oil pump, rebuilt carburetor, starter, solenoids, alternator, hoses, lifters, and rods. This engine can be used in any marine application. All components are marine grade for exact marine operational specifications. The OMC stringer intermediate housing was rebuilt as well as the engine frame and upper gearbox assembly. The only component not rebuilt was the stringer lower drive unit which was operational at time of disassembly. This was to be used in another boat but a last minute job change forced me to sell my shop and relocate. The engine is still in break-in period so will need final torques and appropriate break-in completed by purchaser. All machine work was completed by a reputable engine machine shop so this is not a “buff and puff”, the cylinders were bored .030 over. Pictures show refurb and final assembly. This will need to be a freight shipment and I will have it secured on a pallet. No warranty on engine as I can’t guarantee the buyer won’t mess it up - don’t offer if you don’t know engines, how to check tolerances, or how to break in a newly refurbished engine. Shipping will be at actual cost if lower than $1,000. I will credit buyer and show actual shipping receipt.
