Atlow speeds and during city driving, the openinlets reduce airflow restriction, allowing the turbos tospoolsignificantly fasterand respond instantly to throttle input. Whilesome warmer engine bay air may be present at very low speeds, the airflowadvantage delivers noticeable gains in responsiveness and low-RPM acceleration.
As vehicle speed increases, the factory air ducts supply asteady stream ofcool outside air, becoming the primary air sourceat cruising and highway speeds. Intake temperatures stabilize while retainingthe airflow and response benefits of the open design.
