Offered here is an incredibly RARE genuine NOS Neiman ignition key blank, uncut and made in Austria. This blank comes from the collection of a dedicated Mercedes-Benz 190SL collector and restorer.
The blank is stamped \"NEIMAN\" and \"D.R.P.\" (Deutsches Reichspatent) on the front face, and marked with the profile code \"W\" and \"AUSTRIA\" on the reverse. Nickel-plated steel construction, presented in bright condition from long-term dry storage.
Cutting Note:
This is an uncut NOS blank. It must be professionally cut by a locksmith or automotive key specialist to match your specific ignition lock. Do NOT attempt to force an uncut blank into your ignition — this can damage the lock.
Fitment:
Fits Mercedes-Benz 190SL (W121, 1955–1963) with factory Neiman steering column and ignition locks. Also correct for select other 1950s and 1960s Mercedes-Benz models utilizing the same Neiman profile. Buyer should verify the key profile matches their existing key before purchasing or cutting.
Overall, this is an attractive genuine NOS Neiman key blank, well suited for a 190SL owner needing a spare or replacement key. Genuine vintage Neiman key blanks are increasingly difficult to source.
