Very excited to offer these two Mercedes 300SL Dashboard trim pieces, installed in the chassis 198.040 with engine 198.980 and used in unit Lining and Covering 2.Vehicle Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing W198 was manufactured in the years 9/54 to 5/57 in a quantity of 1400.
First is the Moulding Dashboard Top Trim part number 401986800392
Second is the Lower Dashboard Moulding Faceplate part number 401986890171
They are being sold individually but available to bundle.
These pieces came out of the Austin Family Collection out of Corona, CA with a further provenance associated to the original owner from Oceanside, CA and MBCC in Irvine.
It is presented and sold as found, as is condition, leaving the patina and reconditioning to the buyer. Both pieces are in excellent original condition, albeit needing any proper desired light cleaning/polishing.
