Brand new steering lock emulator (black box type) is a replacement unit of original malfunctioned module. Instead of repair of broken or lost ESL, we will program the new emulator to your ignition switch. The emulator box installs at the same factory location, after the installation the steering wheel will not be locked as the new emulator box has no useless locking mechanism and car will start as before malfunctioning. The beep will sound every time the key is inserted into the EIS indicating the system works C/E/GLK 2008-2014 (W204, W207, W212). For Sprinter W906 models emulator please contact us.
ISSUE:
Failure of ESL after battery disconnected - key is not turning or key stuck in EZS. Message on dashboard \"Please remove key\". Requires ESL/ELV replacement.
PROGRAMMING:
The following parts must be mailed for processing:
1. Original EIS/EZS (Ignition lock)
2. One working key
3. Malfunctioned ESL(optional)
You will receive back your original EIS with key and brand new programmed emulator Black Box. Just connect it back and run your car! Plug-n-Play, no dealer\'s visit, no extra programming!
Note: Customer is aware by purchasing our service that the factoryelectronic steering lock will no longer work as it is replaced with a programmedemulator that deletes ESL from the vehicle.Customer may need to clear fault codes set during the programming usingdedicated OBD2 office is located in beautiful Sarasota, Florida.
