Seal kit for fixing an external leakage of all Hydraulic cylinder.

Mercedes Benz TYPE R129 all years of construction it contains 2 additional gasket sets so that all years of construction fit with the different installed hydraulic cylinders.
consisting of:
- 4xDS005 for hydraulic cilinder 1298000072 tonneau cover locks
- 2x DS003 for hydraulic cilinder 1298000272 Main lift cilinder
- 2x DS001 for hydraulic cilinder 1298001672 front top locks
- 2x DS006 for hydraulic cilinders 1298001772 and 1298001872 / 1248000272 left and right extension bow cilinder
- 2x DS004 for hidraulic cylinder 1298002072 tonneau cover lift cilinder
- 2x DS002 for hydraulic cilinder 1298002172 extension bow locks
This set will cover all seals for all manufacturing years.
Due to the age-related disappearance of the plasticizer, the rod seal becomes porous and ruptures. It creates a leak when operating the roof hydraulics.
This leak is corrected with our seal kit.
With clean installation, the cylinders are sealed again for the next 20 years.(Please note that it can vary due to long exposure of the car in sun and high temperature when car is stored )
This Seal kit consists of:
1. 14 rod seals made of a special polyurethane mixture and 2 rod seals made of a special FKM (Viton) Flour rubber compound for the main lifting cylinders.
2. 14 o-rings for the cap.
Due to the new material mixture of the rod seal is this More resistant, tear-resistant and heat-resistant than the original seal
We have redesigned sealing profiles combined with a new slip-modified, thermoplastic polyurethane material. These gaskets are made of profile and materials that make them ideal for this application:
- High tensile strength
- Lower friction
- no noise
- High thermal capacity: up to 240 ° F (green seals made of PU) and 410 ° F (brown seals made of FKM (VITON)
- By manufacturing by injection molding, we guarantee consistent quality.
- These seals are, in our opinion, of the profile and material used far superior to the original seals.
