With this new GPS type system you will have the perfect electric steering experience. With the GPS antenna / sensor included in this controller Kit the power steering system will always know the exact speed of your vehicle. So, you will have your steering working as a factory system where you have the maximum steering assistance when vehicle stopped and you have the minimum steering assistance at higher speeds. And while you increase your speed the steering will decrease its assistance.
Very easy to install. Only need to connect ground and +12 Volts to our Kit. This new GPS controller Kit doesn´t use an adjustment knob, because the GPS antenna will always know the vehicle speed and adjust the steering according to it.
We developed this Kit to also allow the user to make diagnosis to our controller to know if the GPS antenna is getting accurate Vehicle speed. In some cases if the user wants to adjust the system we also included a simple way to do it. Everything explained in the instructions included.

What happens if the GPS unit losses satellite signal, such as entering a tunnel or a underground carpark? If the GPS losses the signal, for example on a tunnel or a carpark, the system will keep the last know vehicle speed. So, for example if you enter a tunnel at 80km/h and the GPS losses the signal it will keep this vehicle speed of 80km/h until it get accurate GPS signal again. Normally you enter an underground carpark at a low speed (10 to 30 km/h) so it will keep this speed value too.
There are many advantages of using this hydraulic electric steering pump from Volvo. Using this setup you don´t need you use a steering pump attached to your engine with an auxiliary belt, etc.
