NOS 1940s-1950s Studebaker Michigan Hi-Therm Engine Bearings Boxed Set #449 020!

An old timer’s estate had a lot of Studebaker parts from the 1940s and 1950s… this is part of that collection.
It’s a new old stock boxed set probably from the 1950s. Inside are four smaller boxes, each holding a different pair of bearings.
Made by Michigan Engine Bearings, these Hi-Therm bearings are manufactured by the parent company, Detroit Aluminum and Brass Corporation.

There are also some exchangeable model numbers on the back of each box: 9896 SB, MB 893, 2983 & M 5564, as well as 9897, 9898, 894, 895, 2984, 2985, 5564 & 5566.
Boxes would make great eye candy for a garage, shop, or man cave- the black, yellow and red packaging shows an image of the factory in Detroit.
