NATIONAL OIL SEALS Oil Seal 7412S
The National 7412S (engineered by Federal-Mogul / DRiV) is a premium, single-lip manual transmission input shaft seal. It can also occasionally cross-reference into vintage heavy machinery steering gear assemblies (such as a power steering pitman arm shaft seal).
The part features an industry-standard Type 48 design with a spring-loaded nitrile sealing lip, a clockwise-spiral helix pattern to pump fluid away from the exit point, and a specialized Redicoat outer bore coating to eliminate minor metal-to-metal bore imperfections.
