Q; I see that this kit comes with the switch with the “auto” function on the headlights switch. Does this enable auto lights on my vehicle?
A: No, it does not enable auto lights on your vehicle. It will function as a secondary “running lights” feature if you put it in the “auto” position. If you want to add the automatic lights feature, further modifications and parts are required. 2016+ Nissan Frontiers are pre-wired for the automatic headlights function, but you will need to add an OEM sun-load sensor, which is not included in this kit.
Q: Can I request this kit to come with a non-auto switch?
A; By default, all NissanPartsPuller fog lights kits come with the switch with the “auto” feature. If you are particular and want a non-auto lights switch, they can be accommodated for a +$75 upcharge, due to scarcity. Please message me if you have this request, otherwise an auto-lights stalk will be sent.
Q: I see that the stalks are used, can I request one in like-new condition, with no wear to the lettering?
A: To maintain a fair experience for all customers, fog lights stalks are selected at random, and have variable amounts of wear. If everyone messaged me wanting a pristine switch, there would be none left. If you want a pristine new switch, this can be accommodated for +$75 upcharge. Please message me if you have this request, otherwise a randomly-selected used switch will be sent.
Q: Are these all OEM Nissan parts?
A: The lights switch is used OEM Nissan, and the fog lights housings and hardware are new collision-grade aftermarket replacements, CAPA & SAE certified.
Q: "Does this stalk allow me to use my brights function on my headlights alongside the fog lights?"
A: No, due to 50-state road regulations, the fog lights will not come on at the same time as the brights.
Q: "Does this tie in my daytime running lights to my foglights?"
A: No, just like a stock Nissan truck this does not do that.
Q: "What all is included??"
A: 1X USED OEM Fog lights stalk, 2X New Aftermarket Replacement Fog lights, 2X Halogen bulbs, 2X fog lights brackets, mounting hardware!
Q: What is the average lead time?
A: Since all kits are custom assembled to order, please allow 3-5 biz days lead time, and up to 3-5 biz days ship time depending on your location in the country. I will get them out as soon as humanly possible.
Q: Is this kit 100% plug and play, and bolt in?
A: Generally speaking, yes, this kit is a super easy install, and fits 99% of 2005+ Frontiers, Xterras, and Pathfinders. Install time should be expected at about a hour to two hours. Prior to purchase, please familiarize yourself with your truck's bumper mounting style to verify fitment. Albeit rare, I have had a few exceptions to fitment compatibility, mostly due to rental/fleet vehicles, collision replacement bumpers, and some oddball OEM molding defects. Please note that returns will absolutely not be accepted if fitment is incompatible for the above reasons.
