This is a genuine OEM 550 Barchetta Modular wheel. I have this complete set on my 550 and the finish on this specific front wheel became damaged by exposure to an unknown substance. I believe it happened while the car was in the custody of a shop for a couple months and during this time they did test drive the car. I cannot speculate as to what caused it, but I couldn't live with it.
My options were to refinish the wheel, which would then mean refinishing all four of them to match, or just find another. I was fortunate that eventually I was able to buy another OEM wheel in original condition, so that wheel is now on the car which means this one is available.
I would describe the flaws as some sort of chemical etching. They are primarily along the wheel face circumference that's parallel to the barrel, but there are some other places as well, including a little bit on the polished lip surface. I tried to get the best photo representations I could, but for some reason these flaws are hard to capture on camera unless you get the light just right.
Take my word for it, this wheel NEEDS REFINISHING if you are remotely OCD as I am.
Mechanically, I believe the wheel is true with no bends, cracks, or other issues. I had the wheel on my car up until a couple weeks ago and had been driving it for years with no issues other than the aforementioned cosmetics.
Note, there is no center cap or valve stem included, so those need to be purchased separately. Unlike the wheel itself, those parts are easily sourced for very low cost.
