BLACK LEATHER with RED STITCHING , and ofcourse PERFECTLY PLACED THUMB GRIPS! This wheel is BEAUTIFULLY DESIGNED , JUST A GREAT FEELING STEERING WHEEL in your hands.
The leather is THICK and plumpy , feels good in your hands, has the signature " thimb grips " .
The OEM Part number is : 7R3Z-3600-AA
Their is only 20k miles on this wheel, BUT the donor car was wrecked and the leather has a few minor abrasions , scrape's, marks, etc. The indentions you see are from storage , having other parts stacked on or around it has indented the soft fluffy leather, from experience most indention will eventually come back out. I took these photos roughly an hour after i pulled it off the shelf where it'd been sitting for 15 years +/- . It didn't have time to start to even go back to shape but their not really that bad anyway.
As stated the leather has a few abrasion areas that need viewed to see the condition. Anyone that works with leather could fill sand re-dye these areas, but if your that picky I suggest you buy it brand new for $1k
I'm gonna be as transparent and honest as possible, but PLEASE view the photos, i attached three max of 24 pictures to show you exact condition. I have nothing to hide and obviously pictures do not lie like people do.
ON THE FORWARD FACING THE DRIVER : At the 3 o'clock position, too the right of and above the cruise button their a small mark, at the 4 o'clock position theirs a little larger abrasion, at 11 o'clock theirs a very minor indention scuff.
ON THE BACK SIDE, TOWARDS THE DASH : At the rear backside at 1 o'clock their a couple small indention or scuffs , at the 3 o'clock position theirs an abrasion / scuff , then at 11o'clock theirs a couple minor scuffs.
The lower smoked chrome snap in piece has heavy scuffs scratches, easily replaced by buying it new oem, used oem, or with your original piece from your wheel or can be bought aftermarket ofcourse.
