Engine Inspection

This N63TU2 is ready to use with minimal preparation. It includes all photographed accessories. This engine is original to the donor. The donor car was driven at full operating temp under various loads without issue for some time. There is a video of the donor 750i running and driving prior to removal. No errors in either DME. Emission monitors were complete. The car was making full power without issue. Compression and leak-down have been checked and pass. All eight cylinders over 180 PSI with no unusual deviation. The cylinders have been checked with a camera and look fine. Valve stem seals are not leaking or smoking. No sludge inside the crankcase when checked with a camera. The engine has oil seeping near the bottom rear of the engine. Potentially the pan gaskets or rear main seal. The CCV hoses are cracked and need to be replaced. This engine has not been sprayed or cleaned. You are seeing it exactly as removed from the car. You will receive it exactly as photographed. The engine is stored indoors, wrapped and sealed on a pallet. Everything inside the engine is likely 100% original. Please plan accordingly for anything additional maintenance or preventative that may need to be done, considering the mileage and age of this engine. This engine has been inspected and tested by a certified technician. The donor vehicle was mechanically stock and running well. The engine long block assembly has been tested at full operating temperature.

This engine long block assembly is used and should be properly serviced and prepared by an ASE or BMW certified facility prior to installation. For maximum warranty coverage and optimal performance, consumable items such as seals, gaskets, hardware, and other wear components should be replaced or refurbished beforehand. For example, this includes visibly leaking gaskets, cooling hoses, crankcase ventilation components, valve stem seals, brittle plastics, engine bearings, water pumps, and more.

Returns

This engine can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Unless other arrangements have been approved, this engine must be returned using the same delivery service, in the same condition, and packed as originally received.

If this engine has been installed, modified, or tampered with, it is no longer eligible for a return under this policy.

See warranty details below for coverage after installation. You are responsible to carefully review the photos. No returns will be accepted for cosmetic defects that are clearly photographed.

Warranty

This engine is guaranteed to be free of major defects for 30 days after delivery. Warranty returns and exchanges are processed individually, at our discretion. If this engine has been installed, supporting documentation for the warranty return or exchange is required.

At a minimum, supporting documentation should include records of proper installation and procedures performed by an ASE or BMW certified facility, along with clear documentation of the failure mode.

This long block coverage applies to major components only: engine blocks, cylinder heads, crankshafts, pistons and connecting rods, oil pump, camshafts, and valve train.

All additional engine accessories and trims are considered extras and are not covered by any return or warranty policy. Extras may include turbochargers, manifolds, fuel pumps, injectors, belt-driven components, electronic modules, wiring harnesses, sensors, solenoids, actuators, cooling system components, engine mounts, and more. These items are included as-is.

Known issues inherent to this engine may not be covered.
