The stock LS rocker arm from GM is super lightweight and works fine in the stock applications. When subjected to higher lift cams and increased spring rates the stock needle bearing cages have shown their weakness and failed in performance applications. SDPC is introducing a new high strength trunnion with a premium proprietary bushing to replace the stock pieces for increased strength and added security for performance LS applications. Dedicated oil fill channels in two positions on the new trunnion provide a constant supply of oil to ensure proper lubrication. No more catastrophic engine failure caused from the loss of a stock rocker arm needle bearing.
